Tesco is taking the precautionary measure of recalling the above product due to a potential manufacturing fault, which may cause the product to overheat.
This recall only affects products that have been on sale since November 2005 and have the model No. IRS55
The product name and model number can be found on the rating label located at the base of the iron. It can further be identified by its green water tank, green spray buttons and a red power indicator light located on the top of the handle.
No other product is affected by this recall
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
Stop using the iron immediately. Customers who have bought this iron are requested to return it to any Tesco store where a full refund will be given.
