Moulinex Blender
To all owners of a Moulinex silver/glass blender with model number 'DAE2'.
Their quality control checks have identified a potential component failure with some of these blenders.
If your product matches the one in the picture, then check the rating plate on the base of the product.
Rating plate should be as shown.
There are 2 steps with which to positively identify potentially affected blenders.
Only Blenders which match BOTH criteria below are affected.
The product number (shown by arrow 1 in the diagram) will be DAE2.
AND
The date code is shown by arrow 2 in the diagram (The first 2 numbers represent the week of the year, second 2 represent the year). Potentially affected products were made between 1904 (week 19 of 2004) and 0305 (week 3 of 2005).
If you own a blender which matches BOTH criteria you should: Stop using it and contact their helpline for details of what to do.
