LG Dishwasher
Further to our ongoing safety and reliability testing we have found that in a small number of cases a faulty component inside the dishwashers may cause the unit to overheat and produce smoke which appears from the handle.
Please call our free helpline on 0800 4580266 as soon as possible to arrange for a qualified service engineer to call and modify your dishwasher free of charge.
If no signs of smoke are visible you may continue to use the product normally although we would strongly advise that you do not leave the unit unattended whilst in operation. If the unit does show signs of overheating or smoking you should stop using the dishwasher and disconnect it from the electrical supply immediately. The model number is located on the inside of the door at the top and the serial number will be in the following format: xxxKWxxxxx.
