Carlton Tower Fan TF2005RS & TF2005

PRODUCT RECALL OF CARLTON TF2005
AND TF2005RS TOWER FANS
The model number can be found on the rear of the fan.
This recall does not affect any other Carlton fans.
Ongoing quality control cheeks have revealed that, in a limited number of cases, a connection within the fan in this product may overheat, which in turn could result in smoke or flames being produced.
As a precautionary measure, they are asking owners to stop using these fans, disconnect the product from the electrical supply and return the product to their local store where they will be given a full refund of the original purchase price. A receipt would assist them with their record keeping, but is not essential.
