This product is subject to a potential safety issue. Under certain circumstances components within the unit may overheat causing the heater to smoke.
Owners are requested to stop using the heater and unplug it from the mains immediately.
They would request customers who have purchased this model to call their freephone helpline on

as soon as possible to arrange free collection of the appliance and full refund, alternatively e-mail them on heater.recall@intertek.com
Please pass this information on to any friend or family member who may own the product model BOH2513G.
All other Bionaire® heaters and products are unaffected.
