Amprobe Digital Clamp Meter
About 70,000 Amprobe digital clamp meters for electrical testing, manufactured by Amprobe Test Tools, because the meters can fail to give a correct reading of voltage, causing the operator to believe the power is off and be at risk of shock, electrocution or thermal burns. The company has received one report of an incorrect voltage reading but no reports of injuries.
The following models of digital clamp meters are included: ACD-10PRO, ACD-10 TRMS-PRO, ACD-14 and ACD-14TRMS, except those model numbers followed by 'FX' or 'PLUS.' The model numbers are printed on the front of the meters, which are red and gray. The meters measure 0 to 600 volts alternating current, 0 to 600 volts direct current and 0 to 400 amps of alternating current.
