Metrel OmegaPat PLUS MI3305
The Metrel OmegaPat PLUS is an upgrade version of the very popular OmegaPat. The OmegaPat Plus is identical to the BetaPAT Plus but includes the Flash Test function (also known as dielectric strength testing or hi-pot testing), making this tester suitable for repair and production testing. The OmegaPat Plus includes all of the standard OmegaPat features such as the Qwerty keyboard, autotest sequences, 6,500 result memory and dual voltage 230V/110V testing; along with some new useful features including -
Upload test data - This allows the results from previous testing to be uploaded onto the tester to speed up the testing process by automatically selecting the correct test sequence and appliance details from the stored information.
RCD Trip time testing - The new revision 3 of the IEE code of practice recommends that the trip time of portable RCD's is tested.
Label printer compatibility - A specially designed mobile label printer is available as an accessory. 50 x 30 mm Labels can be printed and applied to a tested appliance immediately after test is finished.
USB communications - As well as the standard serial (RS232) connection a USB port is now included as most computers and laptops no longer have a serial port.
Current clamp compatibility - An optional current clamp can be used with the BetaPAT for testing leakage and load currents of fixed wire and 3 phase equipment.
